Estate Planning Documents Should Be Tailored To Client’s Needs
Estate Planners should understand their client’s personal needs when drafting documents. In this article Hartley Goldstone writes about his own experience dealing with a rancher who wanted to leave his property to his two sons. Mr. Goldstone used this anecdote to point out the common personal issues that estate planner’s face when dealing with clients. Before putting together legal documents estate planners should talk with the client and understand his or her individual wants and needs.
