A Federal Judge has refused to remove a case from a Texas probate court concerning the control of a Benson family trust. The case concerns the management of a trust that controls multiple car dealerships and banks located in Texas. Recently, the probate court had appointed two new trustees one of which was a former mayor of San Antonio. This suit has been overshadowed, as of late, by the ongoing testimony in Mr. Benson’ s New Orleans competency trial.
