How Society Is Redefining What It Means To Age
With human life expectancy expanding, more people are expected to live longer and healthier lives. This article discusses the ways our society is changing the way it thinks about aging. Society is going to need to come up with a new name for the later period of life. The way we treat education, retirement, finance, and inter-generational relationships will have to adapt to this changing reality. Changes are already taking place at a rapid pace as thousands of baby boomers reach the age of sixty five every day. People are going to need to make plans for how they are going to spend their longer lives in a way that is more fulfilling and productive.
