The late radio icon Casey Kasem’s three children are currently accusing his wife of elder abuse. Casey Kasem was suffering from Lewy body dementia when he passed away at the age of 82. The children alleged that their step-mother, Jean Kasem, hastened Casey’s death by deciding to move her husband to the State of Washington from a treatment facility in Santa Monica California. Prosecutors in L.A. County have declined to take on the case claiming that they do not have enough evidence to prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury. Casey Kasem’s daughter Kerri Kasem has announced that she will file elder abuse against her step-mother in the State of Washington.
