Dennis Lauscha, President of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans, is set to testify in the competency trial of franchise owner Tom Benson. The longtime team executive has been accused as being part of a conspiracy to displace Mr. Benson’s daughter and grandchildren from team management which was a key trigger to the commencement of the competency dispute. However, any testimony will be protected by the gag order and closed proceedings imposed on the trial in order to protect medically sensitive information.
