Appeal Continues In Nina Wang False Will Case

ArticlePictureThe defense team of a disgraced feng shui master who was convicted of falsifying a will of billionaire Nina Wang argued before an appellate court that the conviction should be overturned due to the introduction of a new witness. However, the prosecution argued that the conviction should not be overturned because the key to the case was scientific evidence that the will was forged and would not be changed even by a new witness coming forward. This case has dragged on since the attempted probate of Wang’s will in 2009 but could have been settled for several hundred million dollars after the initial hearing. Goes to show that when you are the beneficiary of a shaky will its better to settle for millions than insist on billions.
