Deceased NFL Owner Leaves Valuable Art Collection To Indianapolis Museum

Eiteljorg_Museum_signBud Adams, the late owner of the Tennessee Titans, has left a valuable art collection to the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis.  The valuable collection of art and artifacts is valued to be worth tens of millions of dollars.  The generous philanthropic bequest was announced at a gala last weekend.  Mr. Adams, who passed away in October of 2013, had willed the art collection to the Eiteljorg Museum.  “The trove includes paintings by Frederic Remington, Thomas Moran, and N.C. Wyeth and Native American artifacts up to 1,500 years old.”  The Museum plans to host a major exhibit for the art collection that will run from November 2016 until January 2017.
