Honest End Of Life Talks Can Save Much Heartache Down The Line
End of life conversations are among the most difficult anyone can have as it requires a person to take a forthright look at their own mortality. However, having this conversation early can save much stress down the line as it avoids the scramble of putting an estate in order only after a person has died or been incapacitated. The most important topics of the conversation should revolve around who should inherit property, disposition of remains, the location of key estate documents, and wishes concerning medical measures to be taken if seriously ill. While talking about the worst that may come is not pleasant, it will create a since of security knowing that a dark time will not be made worse having to scramble to organize a loved ones affairs.
