People With No Children Still Need An Estate Plan

WillA person that is childless might not think that they need an estate plan, but putting together the necessary estate planning documents is extremely important even for people that do not have kids.  Creating a Will can provide clients with a say in how their assets get distributed.  Planning does not simply just involve creating a Will.  Clients should also think about health care directives and power of attorney.  They need to consider who they want to make medical or financial decisions for them in the event that they lose capacity.  Making a plan can give a person more control over their destiny if something unexpected happens.
