Morgan Freeman Wants Granddaughter’s Father To Get Nothing From Her Estate

ArticlePictureTragedy struck earlier this year when E’Dena Hines, the granddaughter of actor Morgan Freeman, was stabbed to death by her boyfriend while in the grip of hysteria. Upon her death, Ms. Hines was worth approximately $791,000 but had no will which triggered intestacy. However, this means that her father will inherit half her estate even though he has never been a presence in her life. As a result, Freeman is seeking to have a court exclude the father from taking anything from the estate on the basis the father abandoned his daughter. This sentiment is understandable especially when it is taken into consideration that much of Ms, Hines’ wealth was from gifts given to her by Mr. Freeman. As of now, there is no time frame on when the ruling is expected to be handed down.
