Family Dysfunction Should Be Handled With Better Communication
Bad family dynamics and dysfunctional family relationships can be an underlying problem in many Trust and Will disputes. Dysfunctional relationships need to be handled with a different approach that involves better communication. People should speak to each other directly about their problems instead of relying on third party communications. It is important to address the problems of the present and not focus or dwell too much on past issues. If a person is holding an important fiduciary position like Trustee they need to over inform the beneficiaries of Trust activity. “Nothing breeds suspicion and fear more than under informing Trust beneficiaries.”
