The stray cats in the Northern Italian city of Bologna will be living the good life after inheriting a top-floor luxury apartment. The late Fiorella Scannabissi, known for being a cat lover, has bequeathed the home to the stray felines. The cats will not literally live in the home, but instead the property is going to be sold and the proceeds will be donated to the city’s cattery to provide a home for the stray cats. Trebbo di Reno, which looks after the cities strays, has stated that they “would like to put the money towards building a new and bigger cattery, in which each cat would have its own room and maybe a little garden area.”
