Dead Man’s Hand Not Aces And Eights All Black This Time
Poker is one of the most popular forms of gambling with huge tournaments that draw thousands that are televised on networks such as ESPN. But for one Puerto Rican man poker was more than just gambling, it was a way of life. So when he died, his father requested that the embalmer prepare the body wearing the type of baggy and comfortable clothes that are ubiquitous among poker players and set him up at the table one last time. The man’s friends and family were able to sit and take pictures with the corpse who had a imposing chip stack before him that would make any player happy to enter the afterlife with. No word on what hand he was dealt for his last hurrah but it is safe to say that he was pushing all in no matter what cards he was holding.
