The Financial And Emotional Tolls Of Contesting A Will
An individual who is planning on contesting a will is going to need to be prepared for a long fight that will take a toll on them both emotionally and financially. During a will contest bitter emotions and feelings can be dredged up that are very similar to the type of experiences that spouses have during a divorce. Contesting a Will is not going to always lead to success. Undue influence, lack of testamentary capacity, and lack of due execution are the three categories of will challenges that are discussed in this article.
Challenging a will is going to be expensive and the person who is contemplating initiating such a challenge will need to be prepared for all of the costs. The emotional challenges will also be important to be prepared for as family members and loved ones fight with each other over a will and bitter feelings are expressed.
