How Life Insurers Might Be Letting Consumers Down
Life insurance sales have been declining, and a new report released by the consulting group McKinsey called The Key to Growth In U.S. Life Insurance: Focus on the Consumer claims that it is the insurers’ fault. Life insurance is a good way to make sure that spouses and children are taken care of when the insured person passes away. This article discusses how life insurers are going to need to focus on better customer service in order to reach out to a changing consumer market. More people are not aware of the importance of having some sort of insurance to make sure that loved ones can be provided for. People should be proactive about getting themselves covered, and not wait around for an insurance agent to contact them.
