Knife Found At Former OJ Simpson Estate Sparks New Interest In Case

ArticlePictureThe OJ Simpson murder case ranks as one of the most famous trials of all time due to the huge amount of press coverage it received combined with the shocking verdict. During the trial, one of the biggest pieces of evidence missing was a murder weapon which, despite intensive efforts, was never found. But a new twist has emerged with a knife that was reportedly found by a construction worker in 1998 is now being looked into by the LAPD. Allegedly, the knife was found when the worker was demolishing the home Simpson lived in at the time of the murders and was turned over to an off-duty police officer shortly after being discovered. However, the officer kept the knife for the next 18 years and it was only recently revealed he had possession when a friend informed the LA police. Currently, forensic test are being run to see if there is any remaining evidence on the weapon to tie it to the murders.
