There are too many Americans who are not saving enough for retirement. This article discusses how a growing number of seniors expect that they will be able to supplement their income by working part time. Planning on working part time in retirement is a risky gamble because there could be unplanned for health situations that could force an early retirement. Americans need to be more proactive about saving for retirement. Getting an early start on estate planning can help a person avoid serious financial difficulties later in life. As the population of senior citizens continues to rise there will be a growing problem of people being inadequately prepared for retirement. It is a good idea to speak with an experienced estate planning professional to develop an individualized retirement plan.
