Who Needs Law School Anyway? Penn. Woman Doesn’t After Faking Bar Card

HanduffsFor graduates of law school, thoughts quickly turn to dreams of getting a good job and making partner as soon as possible but, of course, after passing the dreaded and feared bar exam. But one Pennsylvania woman decided all that was for the birds and went a forging a fake diploma and bar card before becoming a practicing attorney for ten years. Over that time she handled dozens of clients for an estate planning firm and eventually made partner before the jig was up in late 2014. If that wasn’t enough, she even served, briefly, as president of the local bar association. As a result of all the shenanigans the woman was convicted for practicing law without a license and is now awaiting sentencing. But hey, based on the success she had with living the life of a lawyer she might have a very bright future as a method actor. Just needs to go to work making a convincing looking Oscar…
