A Woman’s Wiggling Toe Saves Her Life
A 22-year-old law school graduate from the UK was saved with a chance glance and a big toe. The grad and her boyfriend were in a terrible accident, leaving her with broken neck bones, a fractured arm, and severe head injuries. Consequently, she was placed in a medically induced coma. After 19 days, doctors had lost hope and allowed the family to say their goodbyes. Just as they planned to switch off the life support for the final time, a medic grazed her big toe, and it wiggled. A few days later, she was breathing on her own and in recovery.
