The Differences in Today’s “Money Talk”
The parents of baby boomers avoided talking about money while millennials’ parents (the baby boomers themselves) dive into the conversation, preparing the next generation for success. In a recent study, the boomers report putting more value on having the “money talk” in order to be open about finances. Nearly three-quarters of millennials say that their parents openly discuss money with them, confidently allowing them to make critical financial decisions. Each new generation has the ability to shape the financial future with the continuity of ever-evolving goals, innovation, and technology.
