Tupac’s Estate Sued, I Sang on “Bury Me a G”…Now Bury Me in Royalties!

TupacNatasha Walker is filing suit against Tupac’s estate for royalties allegedly due. Walker sang backup on the song “Bury Me a G” and was even given credit on the track. She is claiming that she and Tupac made a deal in which they would share equal ownership of the song. The problem Walker faces is the statute of limitations for bringing a breach of contract claim. In California, a plaintiff must file a suit within four years for such a claim. It has been over twenty years since the song was released. Walker’s attorney is arguing that because the song continues to make money, her client has every right to sue.
