Five Retirement Housekeeping Moves for the New Year

Are you aware of the contents and details of your IRA beneficiary forms? Have you taken steps to appoint someone as your agent under a financial power of attorney? With busy lives and hectic schedules, these non-urgent tasks are easy to put off. But, by reviewing and revising retirement documents now, you can save your family and loved ones grief in the future. Five important areas to consider are: 1) IRA beneficiary forms, 2) 401(k) forms, 3) financial powers of attorney, 4) Social Security earnings history, and 5) implementing and utilizing new technology.
