10 Things Your Kids Don’t Want to Inherit

Upon your passing, family and friends will be obliged to rummage through rooms, closets, and disintegrating boxes to sift through decades of collected tchotchkes and knick-knacks to which they have no emotional attachment. Among items that children will rarely want are your books, sewing machines, linens, and antique furniture. For many of these items, there are charities that would be happy to take your donations.
