Here’s How Much Money Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Really Have
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met after meeting on a blind date. The amorous duo fell in love and were engaged a short fifteen months later. While their love story is simple, their future tax situation as a married couple is a bit more complicated. Markle made about $50,000 an episode, or about $450,000 per year, on the television series, Suits. She has also made additional monies from movie appearances. Prince Harry’s finances are more difficult to pin down, but he is estimated to be worth about $25 million. An issue that may arise after their marriage is Markle’s payment of taxes in the U.S. If the couple share a checking account, the U.S. government will be able to examine both Markle’s and Prince Harry’s income. But, if Markle decides to pursue a charitable lifestyle, she would have no income to report. Along with this, if the pair keeps their finances separate, nosy Uncle Sam will not be able to peep on Harry’s income.
