5 Tips to Live in Retirement Like This Famous 98-Year-Old
San Francisco Restaurateur Cecilia Chiang sold her restaurant in 1991 and retired from the business after a successful 30 year run, but that didn’t stop her from living a full and active retirement. Chiang is edging closer to becoming a centenarian and has yet to slow down from the pace she set in her younger years.
Americans are living much longer than they did 50 years ago and this trend will more than likely increase in number. 10% of newborn girls and 5% of newborn boys will live exceptionally long lifetimes – past the century mark. With the added years comes the need for more money set back to live comfortably and stress free. But don’t forget about the “side hustle,” which can add income, purpose and possibly even a sense of fun.
