Marie Osmond doubles down on refusal to leave inheritance to her kids: ‘Self-worth can’t be bought’

Marie Osmond, singer, actress, and mother of eight, believes that leaving her children a large inheritance would hinder their personal growth. In a recent interview, she reiterated her stance, emphasizing the importance of her children learning to fend for themselves and cultivate their self-worth. 

Despite her decision not to leave a substantial financial legacy, Osmond clarified that she has supported her children financially throughout their lives. With a reported net worth of $20 million, Osmond has experienced multiple marriages, including a remarriage with her first husband, Steve Craig, in 2011, after their initial divorce in 1985, and a subsequent marriage with Brian Blosil in 1986, which ended in separation in 2007.
