Comments on the Australian High Court decision in Redland City Council v Kozic that ratepayers were entitled to restitution for amounts paid for canal improvements under resolutions subsequently found to have been invalid, despite the council’s counter-restitution argument that the canal works had increased the value of the ratepayers’ properties.
