Scaife Trust Case Asked to Stay Open to the Public
As I have previously discussed, the children of Richard Scaife have taken three trustees to court over the alleged emptying of the trust the children are beneficiaries of. The children contend that the funds were used to fund and continue the operation of the Tribune-Review newspapers. Due to the effects that this case may have on charities receiving funds from the late Scaife, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Philadelphia Inquirer filed a petition to keep court proceedings open to the public.
