Couple Hopes to Sell $4.7M Home For $29M in Facebook Stock
Silicon Valley enterpreneur Kenneth Raash and his wife bought the “Forrester Estate” in 1997, and the property was valued at $4.7 million in 2011. The couple now wants to trade the 10,0000-square-foot mansion in Los Gatos, California for $29 million in Facebook stock. Raash released a press release announcing the offer and created a website for the Forrester Estate (forresterestate.com).
Rassh claims he came up with his idea after hearing about a Facebook investor who paid $100 million for a mansion near the network’s offices. According to Raash’s press release, the 6 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom house “would make a newly minted Facebook millionaire proud.”
