Carr Has Proof of Caregivers’ Improper Influence
As I previously blogged, Gail Posner left millions to her dogs and caretakers while her son, Brett Carr, got much less. Carr is trying to get his mother’s documents thrown out, alleging that the caregivers brainwashed her into signing it.
Carr claims the staff persuaded Posner to start a campaign presenting Conchita as the world’s most pampered dog, perhaps for convincing people in the future that the dog needed a large trust fund.
Carr admits his relationship with his mother was rocky, but said they were getting closer starting in 2000 when his mother tried to get sober. However, Posner’s caregivers pitted Posner against Carr and made mending the relationship difficult. As proof, Carr has a video on his phone of Posner’s caregivers running Carr out of the home while Posner wanted him to stay. On the video, Carr stated, “They’re trying to control you,” and Posner responded, “Oh, I know.”
Carr told NBC News: “The estate doesn’t belong to nine bodyguards, maids and a trainer who brainwashed my mother and tried to pickpocket her.”
