Actor Karl Malden Dead

Malden Actor Karl Malden, who won an oscar for his performance in for A Street Car Named Desire, appeared in TV’s The Streets of San Fransisco, and pitched the line “don’t leave home without it” for American Express, died at the age of 97 on July 1.  Although the details of his estate are not public, he did state that he wanted there to be a big party after his death.  

Malden is survived by his wife of 70 years.
