MLK’s children in battle over parents’ estates
Bernice King and Martin Luther King III claim that their brother, Dexter King, has been plundering funds from the estates of their parents, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. The suit against Dexter is in both his individual capacity and in his capacity as the executor of Coretta’s estate.
The plaintiffs filed suit on July 10, 2008 in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia. The amount which plaintiffs are seeking has not been revealed.
