Estate of Leonard Green
Leonard Green, “a pioneer in the development of the leveraged buyout industry,” died in 2002.
Reports now reveal that Green’s estate is suing the company that Green founded, Leonard Green & Partners, LP, for over $3 million. The estate claims that the company and “several of its principals cheated the estate and a related trust through a series of transactions starting in December 2002.”

Special thanks to Prof. Peter Henning for bringing the case to my attention.
