Ivanka Trump’s Fashion

IvankaOriginally, Ivanka Trump intended for her fashion label to be a modern icon of opulence. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on perspective, the ultra-wealthy fashionistas at which the brand was aimed did not take to the Trump line of products. Indefatigable in light of poor sales, Trump moved her line, and its ultimate demographic, downmarket. As her father’s campaign appealed to the average American, Ivanka’s fashion line has enjoyed similar success. Sales of Ivanka’s products increased by 21% in 2016 and clothing sales alone jumped up $17.9 million. Whether from better product targeting or her father’s good fortune, Trump’s business is booming.
