Cannon Estate Planning Teleconferences

The following is an excerpt from an e-mail message I received earlier today:

The Cannon Estate Planning Teleconference Series, featuring nationally renowned estate planners Roy M. Adams and Charles A. (Clary) Redd, of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, LLP is a monthly one and one half hour teleconference program addressing issues of great importance to attorneys, accountants, enrolled agents, insurance agents, financial planners, trust officers, family office staff, private bankers and investment advisors. Each teleconference contains approximately 1 hour of lecture and 30 minutes of Q & A. Many financial institutions are even using these programs for business development with professional referral sources with great success. Professional educational credits are available for many for many types of professionals.

The February 15, 2005 presentation is entitled Trustees and Beneficiaries – Can They Live in Harmony?   Topics will include:

    • Is the Right of a Beneficiary to Remove a Trustee an Axe in the Wrong Hands?
    • Can Spendthrift Provisions Hamper a Trustee’s Flexibility?
Practical Options for Reconciling a Beneficiary’s and Trustee’s Different Perspectives?
    • Does Using One or More Family Members with a Corporate Trustee Help or Hinder Trust Administration?
    • Should Discretionary Standards be Absolute or Ascertainable?
