Same-Sex Marriage Ban Violates Maryland Constitution
Baltimore Circuit Court Judge M. Brooke Murdock ruled on January 20, 2006 that a Maryland statute limited marriage to opposite-sex couples violates the Maryland Constitution.
“The ruling, however, will not allow gay couples to become immediately eligible for marriage licenses. Judge M.
