New Iowa Legislation

Iowa removes the health care agent from the list ofindividuals authorized to make decisions regarding the disposition of remains.Under prior laws, the health care agent was at the top of the list. 2006Iowa Legis. Serv. S.F. 2364.

Also, Iowa has updated its provisions relating to claimsmade on a trust and estate. 2006Iowa Legis. Serv. H.F. 2742.
