Sperm Donor 150 Comes Forward

Harrison Earlier on this blog, I discussed the growing trend of children who are born as a result of artificial insemination to connect with their half-siblings.  I referenced the following article, Amy Harmon, Hello, I’m Your Sister. Our Father Is Donor 150, NY Times, Nov. 20, 2005.

“Donor 150” has elected to identify himself.  He is Jeffrey Harrison.  During the late 1980s, he donated sperm twice per week earning about $400 per month.  Currently, he lives in his RV near the Venice area of Los Angeles with his four dogs.  California Cryobank reports that he was one the bank’s most requested donors.

Jeffrey is now in the process of contacting his “children” via the Donor Sibling Registry. He has already met with some of them with favorable results.
