Anna Nicole Smith’s Funeral

Today, March 2, 2007, Anna Nicole Smith was put to rest.  As CNN.com described it,

* * * Anna Nicole Smith was finally laid to rest in a small ceremony in Nassau, Bahamas. Fewer than 100 guests attended the service, though fans and media gathered outside. * * *

Smith’s mother had filed a last-minute motion in a Bahamian court to halt the burial and take her daughter’s body back to Texas, but it was rejected just before the memorial service started.
