Wang Leaves Billions to Feng-Shui Master
Earlier on this blog, I reported on the April 3, 2007 death of Nina Wang, the wealthiest woman in Asia. Ms. Wang was the center of attention for many years after she was accused of forging her husband’s (Teddy Wang) will in an attempt to gain control of his vast estate.
According to Ting Ting Ng, Nina Wang Leaves $4.2 Billion to Feng-Shui Master, Bloomberg Asia, April 20, 2007, Nina’s will leaves her fortune to Tony Chan Chun Chuen, a master in the art of feng-shui.
Wang chose Chan as the beneficiary because he understood her personal and business philosophy, Jonathan Midgley, a solicitor at Haldanes, the firm representing Chan, told reporters at a briefing in Hong Kong * * *.
Special thanks to Prof. Joel C. Dobris of the University of California-Davis for bringing this development to my attention.
