Paris Hilton to Lose Her Multi-Million Dollar Inheritance?
According to Why Paris the disgrace is losing her £25m inheritance, thisislondon.co.uk, July 7, 2007, Paris Hilton’s grandfather, Barron Hilton, has cut off his granddaughter’s $50 million inheritance. Barron Hilton’s actions resulted from his embarrassment about his granddaughter’s lifestyle. None of senior Hilton’s remaining eleven grandchildren will now benefit from the family fortune. Barron Hilton decided to donate the $2 billion he will receive from the sale of the hotel chain to a charity instead.
This news has not put a damper on Paris Hilton’s entrepreneurial activities. Paris has taken advantage of her recent publicity and has signed several multi-million dollar contracts. She will be filming her reality show The Simple Life, marketing her own jewelry and perfume and promoting a new line of pet clothing modeled by her Yorkshire terrier puppy, Cinderella. As Paris is no longer an heiress of her family’s fortune, she will also be working on updating her best-selling autobiography Confessions of an Heiress.
