Could a human heart both “carry” love and death?
A most unusual anatomical gift scenario has recently been revealed in AP, One widow, 2 dead men, one shared heart, CNN.com, Sept. 1, 2008. Here are the basic facts:
- Cheryl Sweat allegedly marries Husband One.
- Cheryl has affair with Terry.
- Cheryl’s marriage to Husband One is annulled because he is married to another woman.
- Terry divorces his wife.
- Terry marries Cheryl becoming Husband Two.
- Terry commits suicide allegedly because Cheryl did not like the fact that she made more money than Terry.
- Cheryl agrees to donate Terry’s organs.
- Sonny Graham receives Terry’s heart.
- Cheryl and Sonny meet; Sonny is smitten with Cheryl despite being married himself.
- Cheryl marries George Watkins and he becomes Husband Three.
- Both Cheryl’s and Sonny’s marriages deteriorate.
- Cheryl and Sonny live together but things did not work out.
- Cheryl and George divorce.
- Cheryl marries John Johnson, Jr. and he becomes Husband Four.
- Cheryl and John divorce.
- Cheryl (donee’s wife) and Sonny (donor) marry and he becomes Husband Five.
- Sonny commits suicide.
So, does Terry’s heart carry the “suicide gene” or does Cheryl drive men to suicide?
