Steve Fossett Update — Plane may have been found

Continuing the discussion of earlier today, it is now being reported that the wreckage of Steve Fossett’s plane may have been found.

Here are some additional details from Search teams to check out possible Fossett plane, CNN.com, Oct. 2, 2008:

• Plane wreckage was discovered yesterday (October 1, 2008) during an aerial search near where Preston Marrow discovered some of Steve’s belongings.
• The local sheriff’s department will now send a ground crew to inspect the wreckage.
• The National Transportation Safety Board has also dispatched investigators.
