Was corpse harvester scammed?

A funeral director (Jason L. Gano) is on trial for illegally harvesting bone and tissue from 23 decedents.  He claims, however, that he was scammed by a tissue-procurement company that supplied him with fraudulent consent forms.

The blame is being placed on Dr. Michael Mastromarino who was discussed for his involvement with illegal tissue harvesting earlier on this blog.  On the other hand, prosecutors will claim that Jason was fully aware of what was happening and allowed the harvesting to occur in exchange for $1,000 per body.
