“Dividing the Estate” Update

Dividing_the_estateEarlier on this blog, I discussed the play, Dividing the Estate, which has an estate planning theme.

The following update is based on Patrick Healy, ‘Dividing the Estate’ to Survive in Hartford, N.Y. Times, Jan. 10, 2009:

      • The 10 week Broadway run of Dividing the Estate ended on January 4, 2009.
      • In May 2009, the play will be performed at Hartford Stage for five weeks.
      • Producers and cast members hope that this move will help the playwrite, Horton Foote (92) win his first Tony award.
