Supreme Court Rejects Steinbeck Appeal
I previously posted an entry on the fight over some of John Steinbeck’s greatest works and the ultimate court decision holding that Penguin has a superior right to these works than do his heirs.
On May 19, 2009, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected an appeal of that decision without explanation. Perhaps this will mark the end of a five year battle.
