Ashes Used to Print Comic Books

When Marc Gruenwal, executive director of Marvel Comics, died in 1996, he was cremated and his ashes were mixed with inks used to print 4,000 copies of the mini-series Squadron Supreme, Gruenwald’s proudest achievement.
