Heirs of Superman Creator Awarded More Rights
A court has awarded the heirs of Jerry Siegel, the co-creator of Superman, rights to additional works after evidence showed that the publications were produced before DC Comics purchased the publication rights of the action hero. Previously, the heirs co-owned rights to Action Comics #1. According to the court’s ruling, they also co-own rights to Action Comic #4, two weeks of daily cartoon strips, and 3 pages from another publication.
