Katherine Jackson Hires New Attorney

Katherine Jackson recently hired a new lawyer to represent her in Michael Jackson’s probate case.  The new attorney, Adam Streisand, is a known expert in Los Angeles probate cases.  

According to Alan Duke, Katherine Jackson replaces lawyers in estate battle, CNN, Oct. 22, 2009, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Beckloff made the following comment during a recent hearing in which Beckloff granted the executors of Jackson’s estate more deal-making power:

“I want this estate to move forward and I want these creditors to be dealt with,” Beckloff said. “And while we are proceeding in this posture, I want Mrs. Jackson to have information about what is going on and I don’t want to be in court all the time.”
