Michelle Triola Marvin, Party to Palimony Case, Passes Away

On Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, Michelle Triola Marvin passed away.  Michelle Triola Marvin petitioned the courts for half of the income earned by Lee Marvin, her former live-in boyfriend, when the couple broke-up years ago. Although “[s]he ultimately received no money from Marvin, . . . she did help “palimony” become part of the Hollywood lexicon.”  Claire Noland, Michelle Triola Marvin dies of lung cancer at 75, LA Times, Oct. 30, 2009.
